i'm kinda grossed out by how much i quote GC; i really don't listen to them that often. anyways.
i need to go to the store because i am fresh out of motivation.
do you ever have those days were you're just like, "i just can't do it today!"
i am just so sick of homework i don't care about, writing papers or responses or whatever about things i'm not passionate about, learning and going to classes i'm sure i won't use, and overall just jumping through hoops. i just can't do it!!!
i'm just drained. i'm putting my homework off till the last minute, just going through the motions. the weeks just draaaaag on. at least i'm done with my weekend classes - the first 3 weeks of school i had saturday class for 5 hours each time.
i just don't want to go to class, i don't want to work out, i don't want to get ready, i just can't do it!!
and i'm just dead, but i have to not only keep up with my homework class load but try to study for the gre on top of that and figure out grad school and blah blah blah. i'm just sick of it. i just want the grad school gods to look down on me and throw a lightening bolt at isu, have them call me and welcome me to their program.
i have to contact each school i want to apply to, figure out their minimum requirements and apply. not that easy though. some schools want you to fill out an application, some schools its done online, some schools your letters of recommendation have to be emailed, some sent with your application package, some sent from the office of whomever wrote it, blah blah. i just need a clone to do that crap for me. i'm just SICK OF IT!
i have never wanted to quit so bad in my life. its just a miracle to get through each blasted school day. do you guys ever feel like this???

So last weekend I went to the Western Idaho State Fair. I've always loved the Eastern Idaho one, but I figured as long as there was ample greasy food - I'm game. So Malory works at a chiropractic office and had a booth at the fair so she had to work there the whole week and kinda picked the highlights so we knew where we wanted to go when we went. Of course we ate a lot of food!! Me and Malory found this booth that was for "mythical pictures." Oh yep - we dressed up as fairies!
So, we looked through this book of pictures of the costumes to pick out which ones we wanted and I saw this orange one. It looked really pretty. After I picked it out the lady running the booth said we'd have to wait if I wanted to use that costume. When we asked why she said, "Well, that little six year old girl is wearing it right now. She'll be done soon." It amazes me how mature I am sometimes. Anyways, she put wings on us and flowers all over us; it was so funny. I have a friend Roy who I used to work with at Friday's. His sister lives in Boise so he came to Boise and brought Eric and we all went to the fair. Being as picture happy as I was; me and Eric got one of those funny old time photos. I forgot how awkward these can be, they pose you really weird sometimes. Oh well, I still think it's cute.
And of course, the food. oooh fair food is bliss.
but that hasn't even been the best part. could there be something better you ask? oooh yes my friends, oh yes. may i introduce to you - dancing heads. you stand in front of a green screen and they put a green tarp thing that wraps around your body and you sit on a stool. then they put your head onto computer animated bodies. it was so freaking funny. everyone that was going in front of us were little kids (no surprise there) but they would get embarrassed and just kinda move their head. but that's not going to happen when the queen of cheese is involved!! the sound is a little off from the recording, but you get the idea. we didn't know what the bodies would look like until we were doing it, and we had no idea the barbie girls would be so scandalous. it's still funny. we also did the song baby got back, but it says the h word and i didn't want to offend anyone. anyway, the other girl with us is named rayvone. she works with malory and she's way cute. her head gets a little disconnected from her body, but still all part of the fun

in this place i like to call home (good charlotte)
I finally got my room/apartment put somewhat together so i wanted to take pictures for you guys to see my new pad. this is my tiny kitchen. they had cubboards that you can lock for each of us, which is cool because i won't have to worry about rommates poisoning my food again. the problem with this was there was only one cubboard for all of our dishes. the cubboard had 2 shelves, one of which we can barely reach, the other might even be a stretch for shaq. seriously. so mom had an idea to buy a bookshelf, which me and mal did and we're using it for our dishes. so nice!
here is my living room; note the wall colors. this place is kinda painted crazy which is honestly fun. better than just all white. so our living room is bright green with a blue strip. when it gets darker the green looks more puke green, but i'm used to it already. i think the couch is really posh looking, very sharp. not so comfortable, but nice looking still the same. we also have a little patio which leads to a grill area and a volleyball pit. it's fun because at night a lot of people are just hanging out there and we've already met a lot of our neighbors. love it!!
whoever designed this - genius. having a sink/vanity in each of the rooms. sooo nice!! so me and mal share a bathrub/shower and toilet which is no big deal to share but horray we have our own place to cover with makeup, straighteners, etc.
annnnnd the accent wall. malory told me it was orange and yep it's briiiiggghhhttt orange. i t hink the pirate flag kinda tones it down and balances it well. plus it's a pirate which is bomb.com. note my FULL sized bed. i sleep so much better on it than on my crappy mattress last year. i spread out really obnoxiously just because i can. so back to the orange. me and mom just kinda... worked with it. we found a checkered pillow with purple, orange, and pink and we took it and ran. so i have obnoxious pink sheets and orange and purple throw pillows. i think it's fun honestly.
super messy desk. note the 2 feet of books by my printer. ugghhh. school just ruins all the fun.
this is one of my favorite parts of my room. it's just a nicknack kind of area. not professional looking, but it fits the theme of "whatever" right? it's pics of the fam, nibblets, pictures they've drawn for me, a stolen sign (more on that later), a few band pictures, etc. so i DO keep all the things you guys send me - you can tell the kids so if they're ever REALLY bored they can make me stuff and i will display it with pride.
so that's my place! i really like it so far. it feels very homey. a lot better than the suites. thank you so much mom and dad for helping me move and everything!! love you guys!

buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks....
well keeping up with the baseball post, i wanted to write about my exciting night at the chuckers game last night. yes, that's right, marvel in jealousy; i got to watch THE chuckers play. Not many are as blessed as i.
i shouldn't make fun, they played really well. dad gets season tickets with his office so me, mom and dad went. of course, i have more fun making fun of the sound effects that come 20 seconds after the "moment" has passed. for instance, they'll have the sound of glass breaking after a foul ball that goes into the parking lot, but the effect is like... when the next batter is up to plate. me and dad thought it was SO funny.
i also love being obnoxious and yelling things like, "let's hear some chatter out there, ehhhhh batter batter," when the team is taking the field or pointing at the chucker mascot and asking him where the mother chucker is. mom had more fun people watching and pointing out some of idaho falls more interesting folk... including a lady with bright red hair.
since it happen to be opening night, there was a fireworks show after the game. it was a pretty dang good show, plus we were right under the fireworks. overall a very fun night!

take me out to the ball game
so word on the street was that karlenn wanted these pictures from dylans t-ball game so i decided to just throw 'em up. it was a HILARIOUS game. highlights: a little girl hit the ball, not quite far enough so on her run she picked up the ball and threw it while she proceeded to run to first base. having a left pitcher, right pitcher, and middle pitcher. a girl in outfield sitting down making a grass nest. each kid winding up and taking half practice swings at the ball on the t before actually hitting it.
it was really fun watching dylan play and kar coach. anyways, hope you guys enjoy the pictures, they're not great but better than nothing
